Rear End Codes

Can someone tell me where I can find the code for the rear end in my '63? All I know is that it's a 12 bolt. I would like to know the ratio. Your help would be appreciated.

Best way to check it out is to just pop the cover on the differential and check the numbers on the ring gear. You will find some numbers (part no?) and then something like 11 41GM . In this case that refers to 11 teeth on the pinion and 41 on the ring gear or a ratio of 3.73 to 1.
