I purchased a sneaky pete tool. I also loosend my crank (54' 235) a tiny bit to help but..... of course BOTH ends of the rear main seal ripped off . i have about 1.5"inches off of both ends with the remaining pieces still stuck in the upper groove.. how for the love of God am i suposed to remove that remailing piece? Help. any suggestions would be great appreciated..

I used some thing flexible steel strapping , getly worked it in between the seal and the groove in the block .
This isn't a fun job but after my PANIC ATTACK passed , I just worked at it ever so slowly and after a long time , it was out .
Seriously , I never thought it would come out , I was frantic .
