 Well I have all ways used Monroe, oil shocks, but moved up to the gas shocks on the last two sets. Good ride 4 to 6 years depending on how rough your on the shocks. Once was going to try the KYB but got a better deal on the Monroe so I guess it will be Monroe until I can't get them any more.

    front/rear shocks

at this point I'm not sure what to go with. I have put in a 76 camaro front clip into my 56 chev stepside. I also used the rear end as well. Stock shocks in front, and none installed in rear as of now. Truck not running/driving yet. I have used onroe shocks before and found them to be ok. With all that said and done, the shocks were for my daily driver's. With my 56 I'm not sure what's best to use?
