What I would like to know is if someone out there has shortened the frame and bed of a 80-87 Chevy long bed. If so I need to know where to cut, how much to cut, and if the gas tank will need to be replaced. thanks

If you are wanting to shorten the frame it needs to be behind the cab the wheelbase of a longbed is 131 1/2 and a shortbed is 117 1/2

my truck is shortbed k20 1978. i didnt do the chop. bought the truck from terry at aceys top shop in little rock ar.
