Would love to see your hotrod 6 cylinders! I am hotrodding a 292. Plans are Clifford 264 cam, .30 lp pistons, lump port head with oversize high flow stainless valves(1.94 in, 1.60 ex). Dui distributor. So far I have a clifford intake and headers. And a 600 cfm Edelbrock. Here are some pictures. thanks.

Nice !

I'm pleased to see a few still like the old 6 bangers & babbit pounders .

I do not cotton to nor own , any V - configuration vehicles , always InLiners , 6 Bangers .

Wow, those are some very cool pics of the 6 bangers! :) I have a '66 stepside that has a 250 cyl and 3 spd on the column. It is a driver, not a race or show truck.

How much more HP do you guys get with the 4 bbl on the 6 cyl? Is it really noticeable? I have to say that the 3 duece setup is very cool.

Thanks for sharing.

I have a 600 cfm 4 barrel on mine and headers and an 40,000 volt hei. I think I probably got a 20 hp increase. Do to the fact it has poor airflow through the head( Bolt boss in the center on intake port, 1.72 in and 1.50 ex) it didn't get a very good increase. If i put 1.94 in and 1.60 ex valves on it and cut the boss out and put bolt in lumps I would have seen a 50-70 hp increase. But the way mine is now is the ultimate cruiser that has a little peppier take off and a little top end power!:)
