what exactly is soda blasting?there is a guy around where i live that will do soda blasting at your house he will bring is blaster to your house and i was wondering if i find another truck cab for the 4x4 i might be getting if i would want to soda blast the cab? cowboy
Soda Blasting is pretty cool. It takes paint only off. It will leave the metal so smooth that you think someone sanded it off. It doesnt remove rust. You can soda blast right over glass,rubber trim, and chrome. Since its a alkaline product it neutralizes any acid on the metal...you can hose it off with water and it wont rust. I've seen it done... it does not rust... The media is alot more expensive than sand but it also does not warp the metal..hope this helps, Ed
thanks for the help. i got a estimate to do the cab for about 250$. i was hoping that it woudl take some rust off. but i guess i can do that. like i said before thanks for the help. cowboy
