Dont you eat that yellow snow !

Having a bad day is excepted but dont pick on northlanders . We are all equal here at this forum. America and Canada are still free countrees with open borders . My point is that if some person wants to act as a snowbird and feels the need to move from a colder country to a warmer because of some discomfert whom is gonna stop him , you ? Be nice man and dont eat more of that yellow snow. It might make you unnessecery grumpy :(

By the way do not include me in your frase " we dont care how you did up there " :(
I am one of the persons that welcomed this canadian in a nice way to this forum and as far as it is my concern i like to keep it that way :)

    Martinius.

Do not misuse this forum by pesterizing with your private shit talk !

Its not of my buisness what you have experienced in your private life with so called " Noo Yawkas " or do you think it is ? Most likely you have had some bad experiences and thats sad offcourse if so.
But ........ this is a totally different tune we are wisseling here !
The guy you are talking of here jnycnuk is `nt even from New York or Statten iSLAND where most "NOO Yawkas " are from. Offcourse it can be a New York icecream or spesial kinda cake aswell but that is not the question here although both taste very well .

jnycnuk is a canadian from Sascatchewan , he is living in a fucking freezing part of beautifull Canada.

Do you see how stupid your comments looks is now ?

I think you should wright the man a pm and apoligize yourself to him. For my own sace i am not going to use any more words on this matter.

P.s I like your truck threads better :) then this :( Martinius.

    we're all good here.

we are all okay here. I guess it was just a jab. no offence taken. our common bond is our love of old iron and that won't change. we like our American neighbors and envy your weather:)

How it suddenly became about jnycnuk, I don't know. Besides, canadians aren't northerners, they are canooks.(says so in his screen name.) All of them I've met are good people. That is a beautiful place, but I'll only take it in summer.

Since I am apparently now a Yosemete Sam, Yankee hatin' Redneck, let me clarify....I opened a shop with an upstate new yorker, who says there are too many of them coming down and trying to do things the way they did it back home, which didn't work and is why they left, and jokingly says they brought these long cold winters with them. The 50 I am installing a Fatman frontend on belongs to an upstate new yorker, who agrees they are invading, my neighbor is from nearer to New York City, kinda started with the typical attitude, but has chilled out and now fits in and says......there are too many of them coming down and trying to do things the way they did it back home, which didn't work and is why they left.

Anyway, "We don't care how you did it back home..." is a long running joke down south, see Lewis Grizzard, Jeff Foxworthy, most anyone on Blue Collar Comedy.

I thought mechanics were a tough skinned bunch, touchy feely doesn't work around my shop, we jab at each other constantly, all in fun. OK, group hug.....now get your a$$ back to work.

That was a joke also, by the way.

    Having Fun

    Whee ! .

Just when I thought we'd never get any ' cabin fever ' this year..... :p .

Russ is cool , he's just poking fun , we do this from time to time here .

I really enjoyed spending time in Canada back in the 1960's , occasionally I still go to Vancouver Island for vacation .

Mr. Spurgeon thanks fore your comment.

I wanna thank you for your comment but your missing the point here after my opinion!

I am neither politicall nor religious involved in this debate of the simple fact that i live in Norway. And as Norway and Canada are on the same altitude i shorely understand what it is to freeze of my bud:) On the other hand i do have done and said stupid things in my life that i found hard to admit to other people. But when passing the 50 tees things in life aint that difficult to talk about anymore. Things like treatning fellow people in a descent way here at the chevy talk forum fore instance. I admire the people when they participate in the way they mostly do , and know that it makes this litte chevy talk world a bit unique and important to me and i would like to keep it that way if posseble ? OL Chebby wich i personally dont know must be an intelligent and knowledgable person and mechanic . I love his readings but i allow my self to express my dissapointment about the way he talks to jnycnuk without a known reason in public.
The makers of the chevy talk site wich is our host have there spesefic rules for participants to follow, i`ll suggest you read those aswell.

Sarcasm can be very positive when everyone in the room recognizes the contents of it and agree to have a good laughter of a good yoke ! I haven`nt been reading any comment in this matter yet that makes me smile except a worthy one from jnycnuk himself.
Therefore i `ll suggest that you give us a good laughter with some locall sarcasm and tell us a good yoke :) A good laughter makes us getting old:)

    Thank you Martinius.

    Thanks OL Chebby

    Russ....
I did noticed the smiles and i would like to see much more of them:):):):):):) at least i start smiling a lot coming spring as car and motorcycles shows are coming up very soon.
I to think your cool Russ , dont get me wrong after what i have seen your capable of , doing great work with trucks and painting. I like your honnest history behind what you think of the Noo Yawkas , wich i think tells more then all this macho yabbing.... of yeah ! I remember my son used to much of his creativ energy on this group jabbing when working as a mechanic and body worker , the end result whas that he got tired from it at the end and quit the job allthough he is a much more talented speaker then what i am thats fore shore:):).

Canooks and nanooks as Zappa well formulated sings about them !

I have to press iron some money, use to sitt on them dollar notes with my hot ass some hours once a week to make them fit the banking box :))

Have a great day guys Martinius.
