I think the fab work and u-bolt bending together was about $40 so the brother kit sounds good.
Good luck and make sure you photo document it for us.

Moving the rear of a 3/4

    Robert,

I checked what Brothers had on line and found nothing that looked like what Gater made. The only thing I found for these rigs appeared to be all 1/2 ton stuff.
I couldn't download their catalog for some reason, so I couldn't check page 99. I did look through all their stuff on rear ends, springs, and conversions.
Let me know if what you found works for the 3/4.
    Thanks,
    Paul

    I'm proud of you!

To make a statement like this, you COULD drive a G! That's manly!:D

It seems as though you've changed your quote as well...

    Zig,
What can I say? I am first and foremost an American. I will not stoop to the level of those who hated our out going president. While I think our new president will take this country in the wrong direction, the majority spoke and I will abide by it.
As far as driving a G, my eyesight is failing as I age. As soon as it gets fuzzy enough that I can live with that ugly grille, I might get one.;)

    no kit required

I was talking to the owner of a hotrod shop about this and he said that all I have to do is drill the centering hole in the main leaf to center the rearend! Thats it!! No kit required!! Can't get any more simple than that!

There's a safety issue in drilling holes in leaf springs .

I know you're not working your truck anymore but I'd not do it having been in a moving car when the rear end came loose....
