I am trying to build a power steering unit to my 1958 truck. The manual says to use a 1970/80 chevrolet van column. Now I can buy a 81 chevy van column with NO tilt. Can anyone tell me what the best lenght is that I can use when you know please tell me where to measure from. Every tip is welcome,also on the level of the column. Some say to keep it a little towards the dash for in and out convenience because of the lack of Tilt Thanks Tony
