I have a 86 GMC p/u C15 and recently bought a tilt steering wheel column at a car/truck swap meet (think it came out of a 85 Chevy). Other than the tilt, the only difference I can see is that on my column the turn signal/wiper switch is on the same arm, while on the tilt column it's the turn signal/cruise control. I don't really care about the cruise control, so was hoping that I could just swap my turn signal (including components/wiring) into the housing of tilt column.
Do you know if this is possible?
