switch for rear A/C

My '78 Burb has the fan switch for the rear A/C blower in the middle of the dashboard. The lever sticks out just far enough to break it off (twice!).

Do different year Burbs use a different style or location of switch that's not so vulnerable?

The late 80's had the switch in the middle of the dash, but it was a rocker switch that does'nt stick out very far. carryall ================================================================ LONG LIVE THE SURBAN!!!!
