tailgate part

i need the little part at the bottom of the tailgate its the piece that goes on the hinge of the truck but it is on the tailgate the part i need it is spot welded on i hear all you have to do is drill out four spot welds and it comes off

THE PART THAT IS RUSTED OUT, NO ONE IS MAKING A PATCH PANEL FOR THE TAILGATE, IT WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THE RUST COMPLETELY OUT OF ALL THE CRACKS AND CREVICES.

I just junked the tailgate of my 70, so if it is still there on monday, I could cut them out and send them to you.
