Any suggestions for installing the tapered lock pins on the front hanger of the rear leaf springs on my '56 pickup. Already buggered two of the pins trying to install. It looks like the slot is lined up. I can rotate the spring eye bolt in the bushing. I'm thinking of taking the new pins to the machine shop and having a 32nd milled off the pin and proportionally keeping the taper.
