Three Speed Tranny Parts Help ~ 1935

Hi guys ! .

Yes, I know this is the wrong forum, I also know the old machine guys hang out here .

My buddy's 1935 Chevy pickup is beginning to pop out of third gear on decel .

This usually means it'll need a counter shaft and cluster gear .

Anyone got any thing lying 'round ? .

Perhaps from a Hot Rod build ? .

You said it pops out of third gear but is it a three or four speed trans? I have a couple of 1937 4 speeds but have no idea if they would interchange. Both are from bigger trucks and have the PTO block off plate on the side.
