throttle cable hookup

Hey thanks to both of you for all of your help! I have stopped by 3 hardware stores and a small motor repair shop with no luck. Gonna try the Carburetor shop today...

I went to two Hardware stores to - day (the local Tue Value looks ready to fold, less than 50% stock in _anything_) to buy hose repair ends and no joy, One place at least knew what a barrel clamp is but sent me to the oldest lawnmower shop I know, they sold out five years ago and threw out all the old stuff dating back to the 1940's.....
