Tilt Wheel Column

Does anyone know if the rod that actuates the ignition switch is different on a tilt-wheel column or if the steering column jacket (the sleeve that covers everything) is different.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there is a differnce. I took a steering colum out of a 74 and put it in my 83 and there was no differnce. Hopefullay someone will correct me if I am wrong. Good Luck.

There is a differents from a upper none Tilt column and a Tilt column case and upper guts but the rods should be the same.
