Ok
I procured a NV-3500 tranny. Clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing still intact.
My 60 has the juice clutch with the 420 granny low.
From what I have been told that slave cylinder will provide enough pressure to activate the Pressure plate.
My 350 is mid 70's. It has three bolt holes on the front of the heads also a wedge and straight plug heads. I will find out more about the engine when I pull it in a few weeks. My valve guides are completely gone.
Compression test yielded 130 psi on all 8. Smokes slightly at start up and really bad under load.
Anyways back to the question. Will the factory 350 fly wheel mate up to the clutch and PP of the Nv-3500? The tranny came from behind a 4.3 v6.
