Under dash A/C system

I have a 72 Suburban with a under dash a/c system, Can somebody tell me if this was a factory option or maybe dealer installed. It is seperate from heater & defrost. Mounts to dash under glove box. It is self contained unit & looks to have all factory hoses, pump, drier etc. if some one knows anything about this setup please let me know. Thanks

More than likely it's dealre installed, most of those under dash systems were. My Dad's specilty was installing those types of systems in Beetles at the dealership. The Chevy and GMs that came with factory air have the holes made in the dash and the controls were intergrated with the heater controls.
