Hello, my name is Mike and I have been surreptitiously using your expertise for several years now, first, with a 54 1/2 ton, and now my 52. I figure it's time to coHme out of the shadows and share with others if that's okay. When i started back, oh 16 or 17 years ago, I was building some of my own patch panels that I could not find, like the inner cab corners. Then about 10 years ago the 52 came to me as a genuine barn find. The previous owner had dropped in a old 327 and 4 speed, new paint job, new wheels and tires from Les Schwab, then drove it into his fathers barn, covered it with a plastic tarp, and it sat for 10 years until i acquired it. Brakes locked up, clutch frozen, rat nests everywhere, brand new bed wood all stained from the rat hotel on it. I'll try to post some pictures. The truck still wears the same paint and wheels that were on it, though I dropped it about 3 inches all around and added rear bumper and roll pan. I just completed the installation of the 69 camaro fuel tank, restained the bed, and installed new Flowmasters while the bed wood was out.
