I decided to make fixing leaks my project this winter. My universal ball joint leeks like an 80 year old woman with incontinence. Upon taking the propellor shaft off, I noticed that who ever had my truck before me only had one shim where the ball merries the trans, and they had cut the shim to put it on instead of removing the shaft like they should have. I also did not see a cork seal at all. This is the first time that I have taken the assembly apart, and I don't know how the cork seal is suppose to be placed, anyone know.
