Sweet ! I notice Pic # 6 is from Englande as all the vehicles (even the Crosley !) are right hand drive..... . Keep ' em coming boys , this is taking me wayback better than Mr. Sherman ever did .
That last one showing the move-on, https://talk.classicparts.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7489, gave me cold chills. From the time I was 8 until after the age of 16 working on them move-ons was my afterschool work !
I've lived in a place that had three digit phone numbers, but the single digit phone number on the Bond Electric truck takes the prize.
Remember, the number to call is BR-549! "Sarah, get me Barney". OK, for you young sprouts, BR-549 is the most famous number for any redneck who grew up in the south in the early '70's! And Sarah was the switchboard operator in Mayberry, NC! Here's a few more oldie, moldie pics! Ken
Calling all Socal boys! The HAMB also has an awsome thread about the history of Los Angeles! I cyber-stole a few of them! You guys who live in LA, or used to to, should appreciate these pics of the city of angels!
Yabbutt ; They also take much pride in being stuck up assholes . I've been a member for years now and if I reply to a thread , it dies ~ that's bullshit and anti - old car enthusiast elitist crap . Several of my buddies who , like me are not kiddies pretending to know this stuff , got mad and left . Please keep pirating the cool pix ! .
Oh, there are a couple of good ol' boys on there, right Russ? Here's some more L.A. pictures for you viewing pleasure! Ken
