wiring problem

Have a 90 chevy suburban that was running in the driveway and just stopped. After searching the obvious i found that the ECMB fuse was blown. I believe this controls the fuel pump? unplugged the fuel pump and the fuse still blows. put a 30 amp fuse in it and it started until i pushed down on the accellerator pedal and the fuse blew. thinking it might be the TPS i unplugged it but the fuse still blows. Just had the transmission rebuilt and think they may have pinched some wiring above the bellhousing? any suggestions?i am running out of options. might be the fuse block? don't know

It sounds like a wire is grounding out, and causing the fuse to blow. Since you know what fuse it is, then you need to find a wiring diagram and follow that circuit and see what color wire that is and what exactly it connects.

Shops have ways of getting out of liability, so dont expect them to fix your problem.
