also, im looking for a dash for a 1964 c10. truck doesnt have a/c or a heater anymore(im not sure it ever had a/c, i doubt it) anyway, i know it doesnt unbolt and would have to have the spot welds drilled out or someone that is junking the cab cut the whole sectin out that its attached too so i can drill them out myself. my dash is rusted out due to a leak on the top of the windsheild that has been fixed and i would like to replace it. if you have any of these items please send me a pm or an email. williamb82@yahoo.com

I have a set of the 3927187 heads on my 283. Once I figured in the cost of purchasing them and getting them redone, I could have bought a new set of dart heads. The problem with the older heads is the seats are not made for unleaded gas. The cost of changing the seats out is more than the heads are worth. As far as a dash goes I probably have one. I am not sure if the radio area has been cut out or not. I do know you are right about the welds. It is spot welded all the way across the front where the windshield gasket goes. Total pain in the butt to change. There are places that sell new ones. You might look at that as an alternative to a used one. Good luck

    186 heads

I have a set of 186 heads on my nova right now that I am going to be pulling, the date codes are k289 and k249 they have pressed in studs, however I am not sure right now what valves they have in them. they came with the original block that was out of either a 1970 camaro 350 ss or a 1970 nova 350 that were producing 300hp from the factory based on the block ID code so i would assume they are the 2.02 valves from the hp rating. They are great running heads. If you are interested shoot me an email at kevinwesmith@yahoo.com with an offer.

    thanks
    Kevin
