I guess the LS engines are going to be the new standard. We have used one 350 in the last maybe 3 years. Have a 70 Camaro with a Whipple blown LS9 in the shop right now that the dyno tag shows 889hp. The thing idles at 650rpm and can do so for an hour with the a/c on.

We are in Texas about 50 miles NE of Dallas. Usually have about 15 cars in shop at all times ranging from scratch built ones where we make the frames, suspension components, drive train...the whole ball to ones going back to just like they left the factory. About a 50/50 split between the rods and restos. A few going on right now:

    ME TOO!!!

I'm curious, Evan, the mustang in picture 5 must be the one you showed to us awhile back. Unbelievable resurrection on that one...

If all of us retire at the shop and with my status now they will probably make us chip in on coffee and cold drinks. That's OK, they run everything now but I still OWN everything. I got a taste of my retirement duties today I think. Everyone else was too busy so I got assigned the job of taking the 30 Model A Roadster down to the place that builds a shipping crate to send it to England. Traffic, waiting, and the run-a-round---not a fun day. When ones eyes get weak and you can't hold your arms above your head for long periods I guess you're on the second team.
Steve, that is the Mustang, all the gaps are done and ready for engine bay paint, then the final drive train followed by painting.
