54 Sunvisor Dilemma

Hey Dead zone,
Do you still have visors available? I have a 51 chevy that I am looking for a visor for.

The original factory GMC truck visor is nearly impossible to find even for the earlier split window trucks....
I have never seen an original GMC one for a single windshield 54/55 GMC.

I have an inventory of over 50 sunvisors.
The Dieterich sunvisors were popular on many vehicles & would look great on your truck...
They had a superior steel design compared to the aluminum Fulton visors & the Dieterich looks nice with the stainless trim across the entire leading edge & we can ad the correct roof center mount to fit your one piece windshield truck.

No one wants to pay anything for nice original restored visors anymore.

I no longer waste my time fixing them up as most people can buy the cheapo Chinese repop visors.

Repo Fulton Visor SUCKS




Still have a nice selection of original visors hanging in the shop but once these are sold.... I will be glad to be out of the visor business.

I started working on my Old 53 Chevy Suburban that is
about in the same condition I am today-- LOL

Well over a year ago I came across
a 1953 Chevy Suburban Exterior Sun Visor -
just like the one I had on my first 53 Chevy " Truck"
I had in the 60's and sold in the late 70's...

And the online pictures led me to a dead end on 2040 parts ?


Is Dead Zone still here ?
Might have to save up -for some time
to be able to afford the one I saw
But it Was Mocked Up on the 53 Suburban ?
And THAT is the one !... Nice clean lines and the
attachment beats the strange IMO
looking Side Fulton Arms ( Dog Bones?) -- which
I just think takes away from the look...
