    Update!

well its been almost a year since i posted on here bout my truck. began workin on it again, dad built a super nice pole barn so i have my nice welder and tools all inside. no more outside workin out of a trailer. i cant keep the truck inside the garage due to dad havin too many toys in there.
so got the cab corners in and fixed most of the floor rot. truck wasn't runnin right and today the disturber spun around and took all the spark plug cables for a spin. my dads been sayin it was the distributor that was causin it to run crappy. ordered a new distributor tonight....
also this week i tried the old "CLR trick" works well but when i used paint thinner it got goood. at some point someone painted my blue truck white and with some paint thinner and scrubbin the white comes off and shows a cool blue patina. havin a garage to work on it and getting this white off has lit a fire under my ace.
now im hopin the new distributor makes the truck run well and then i need a 1/2 ton front end. i asked the question and some people on here said i can put a 1/2 ton axle on my 3/4 ton truck so i can get the truck loow.
coach on here has also been an inspiration on getting my truck done too, so thanks
last picture is of my twisted plug cables

    S'nice !

I really like that ~ I want to live there....

I agree , Charles should drive to visit , it's not like an old Chevrolet 235 won't make the journey with zero problems ! .

I'd come visit just because .

    Road trip !

Lord knows I could use a vacation ~ yesterday got worse & worse as the day went along , by quitting time I barely made it to SWMBO's house and collapsed into my pain chair , then around 02:200 my calve (? SP ?) muscles woke me up screaming in pain , I tried to get out of the damn chair and it flipped throwing me to the floor where I was stuck for 30 minutes before being able to rise....

I like to drive and the Desert is always nice , I don't need any stinkin' AC as long as I'm driving my Chevrolet Light Duty Truck :p .

    Gettin' OLD ~

    It has it's moments .

    I had a much worse childhood , I pine for my 40's , 17 or younger , not so much :p .

Life is like a sewer ~ what you get out of it , depends entirely upon what you put into it :D .

I did some good works last night on the Camry and my Metropolitan , got some decent sleep and wil be attacking routine service on my truck to - day ~ there's always something to do on any 42 year old machine , I'll work until I can't then close up and go see my Sweet .

Such is the life of an uneducated Blue Collar Working Man ~ no complaints (apart from the chronic pain) , it's the life I chose and I like .

Be sure to explain to your kids how important Education is , it allows more life choices over the long run .

im 29 and i agree but in the year 2013 you can no longer drop out of school and start a million dollar business. BUT payin 100,000 dollars for a 5 year collage course and graduating you can not get the 40,000 dollar year job. i ledt PA workin in the auto body business with an asst degree in film. i now work as a bartender 4 nights a week (10 hours shifts) and make decent money. i strive to do better but i have to be happy with what i got.
my dad retired out here and its his dream to tinker with me so ill do it some more before i leave this military town i live in and find another jobber

i need that bartending money to buy stuff for my 50 truck, my motorcycle and my bills
