Im removing the junk 305 in my 84 GMC 1/2 ton and putting in a 89 efi 350. I would like to leave the efi throttle body on the 350. Do I need to do some computer swapping or anything to make it work? Photos available, thanks.

Ive got an 89 1/2 ton 4X4 that I recently bought that a punk kid shelled out the rearend. It has a strong 350 in it and from what Im told they towed it about 60 miles with no gear oil in the rearend! Are the axles damaged or do I need to take it completely apart and inspect, etc? I believe...
