OK, Got the truck tuned up and took it for its first good drive. I chirped the tires in both 2nd and 3rd. Just makes you feel so good about getting it tuned right.
Just wanted to share it and see if anyone else gets excited about that.

Swapped out the Inline 6 for a V8 and figured I would post my video.
Not the best but you can see how it was done. Will post for photos later with detailed info. My carb needed a rebuild and I am waiting a new HEI right now.

Drove from California to Oklahoma this last month. The 235 Pulled a 13X6 enclosed trailer with 4800Lbs. Total Weight was 10,000Lbs. Was a fun trip. Took some video. Not much to watch But Im sharing the trip.

Cut and welded the side Spare mount. Made it work with a bed cover since it bolted to the top of the bed. Anyway here is some photos for anyone else looking to do so.
Made a video of new front wheel bearings installed. Just quick. Will make it better later.

Ok Im running a carter yf 788SA and I want to start gathering the parts to some day do the dual carb set up. I will look for the exact same carb but If I cant find it will any other carb go well with it in the carter family. Thanks guys
Replaced my Rochester B with a Carter YF today. WOW I mean WOW. It idles way better. Has way better responce. I can put to gas on and it gose. It feals like a new truck in comparison. Made a quick video on it. There is a part were it is running at the end.

Well I removed my draft tube and intalled a PCV valve. Worked out great. I can put my hand over the valve cover and feel some heavy vacuum. This will help a lot since I do a lot of sitting in traffic now that Im in California. Also keeps some water out of the oil.
Ok. So I have found one way to remove my oil bath air cleaner and that is to install a holley 1946 carb, Is there any other way to do this using the model B carb. Im thinking I may have to be the first to make an adapter for this. Thanks guys.

Just installed new electric wipers on my truck cause all it dose is rain here. :confused: So they work great and I can adjust them on the wiper motor but one arm is always about 1 inch higher then the other. need to know if I can raise the drives side or lower the pass side wiper...

Hi, New here. I have a 59 apache and I put new door seals on it but there is stilll a gap. Do I need to put bushings in the hinges and new door latches. Not real sure if this was a problume with the 59 trucks. Thanks for the advice.
