Hi,

I am new to this forum and have been browsing threads, there is some great information around here!

I have a 1948 chevy 5 window i am currently working on , runs and drives great so far after a little tlc. Its definitely not the prettiest car on the road, i would like to add a visor for a different look. Any recommendations ?

Plenty of good used, N.O.S. and repop ones out there along with various aftermarket ones.....

The Truck Shop in Anaheim, Ca. sells the Chinese repops .

Thank for the reply, im looking for a used/nos visor. Dont want a chinese repop. Ive been looking at different models, and im leaning towards a Dieterich i really like the way it fits the truck. Any leads on one? Kind of hard to find.

some sites you have to have a certain amount of post before your able to send PM personal message can’t remember if this is set up that way,

It used to be the case here a long time ago that you had to make a few posts before sending private messages (to help stop people who register just to spam, never intended to block any legitimate users, and could always be overridden by asking). However, that's not required anymore and you can now send PMs (also called "conversations" in this forum software) immediately after registering.

I’m looking to buy a complete & restored original Fulton 1000 sun visor for my 53 Chevy truck with the correct knuckle M1 mounts and the cast aluminum center mount for a 1 piece windshield. I know they are hard to come buy and quite expensive too. I’m willing to move fast and pay quickly as our build is almost done and I’m really impressed by this Fulton 1000 sun shield! I've been reading and learning so much over the past few months. This site is a wealth of knowledge. I also decided to join for a few reasons.

I am also looking for a Fulton Visor for my 48 Chev 3100.

I sent Dead Zone a private message. Hopefully the system delivers it to him. I read that someone else had sent him one but he never received it.

Would be great to be able to get a visor from him, I think it would mean more coming from Joe than someone else.

Anyways hopefully I make contact with him on here at some point.
