Windlace

There is a thread on page 3 that covers this.

Hope this helps :)

cab windlass

100_0092.jpgI recomend the blunt screw driver meathode it worked the best - just take your time. I found that you have to trim around the dash for a cleaner look.

Hard work!

richie~ That's a fine lookin' truck you got going! Nice color, too!

Windlace Tool

Harbor Freight etc. have these nice nylon stuffing tools , they work well and won't chip the paint....

Its a pain but

I found the easiest way to get it in was with WD40 and then a very short wide blade screwdriver. It took about 30 minutes per side after I figured out the wrist flick:D

Wd40

Just remember that WD40 is a solvent and will hasten the demise of any rubber / plastic product , especially the taiwanese rubber bits....

Use silicone as long as your paint is 1000 % FINISHED as silicone will make fisheyes in the paint if it gets on the body before you paint it .

You bet!

I really liked the way STP Son of a Gun worked getting my window glass/gaskets in.

Ken i think there was humor? in there!?!

You know the old saying "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t" Anything that needs a "little extra" to fit can be accomplished with something that is slick. Goop or "Go-Jo" works in my book!

Cream Typ Hand Cleaner

Is also unbelieveably great on old Moto seats , any old stiff seat cover that's faded to white , smear it on and gently work it in with a soft britsle brush , wipe off then buff with a clean soft cloth ~ you'll be amazed .
