What these are, I have never seen them before. The truck appeared to be a 47 or 48. Any info would be great.

They appear to be hood ornaments used on '47 and '48 Chevy passenger cars.

Mike, I cheated. I owned a '48 coupe for 30 yrs. I could spot them in my sleep!

Thanks for the info, I kinda wondered if they were kinda rare like the fender chrome on the 47-54 Panels. If they would have been I would have put them on my Panel but since they are hood ornaments, naaa.
