Ford rear end parking brake cable ends

As the title says I am trying to figure out how to connect the Ford rear end parking brake cables to the the cross bar. The cables have no connectors. Is this something I could find at a FLAP?

I put a Ford rear in one of my Jeeps. I think I looped the upper end of the cable and double clamped it...

We eliminate the cross bar and convert the park brake to what has been used for the last seventy years. The rod from the pedal to the cross bar is cut to length, threaded with a 3/8-24 die, a banana shaped equalizer put on the threaded rod, and then the E-brake cable is run from one backing plate through the equalizer to the other backing plate---just like modern cars. Since the cable can slide in the equalizer this always gives equal braking to both sides and gets rid of forty pounds of junk.
