You can get a 700 for cheaper, bt their stuff is nice.

I discovered the TH200r4 from a Corvette is a direct bolt in and some even have
a four hole rear mount plate so I can use my TH350 cross member , , this will cheaper yet (under $600 rebuilt & installed I'm told) so I'm leaning this way right now .
I see many have looked at this thread but no comments ~ I'da thought overdrives would be very popular with both Hot Rodders and the stocker guys....

O.K. , I googled this and spent hours reading and taking notes , I think this is the right way to go , now to find the core as there's quite a few different ones to choose from .
Apparently the pre 1988 Model year ones don't need any switches to operate the lockup TC , it's done internally , just apply 12 volts to one pin and you're off & racing .
GM makes a DP , DT brake light switch you run the 12 volts through so as soon as you touch the brakes , the lockup cuts out .

How can I best clean the tranny cooler in the radiator with the radiator in situ ?.

I Pulled TheTrigger
And ordered up a Phoenix Transmission rebuilt th350-C with 1,500 RPM lockup torque converter just now .
I can hardly wait to get it in the truck .
They're swamped as it's nearly spring so I have to wait 3 ~ 4 weeks
