Can someone post the location of brake Light Switch on Firewall?

In the body work, the holes seemed to have been covered ....

Thanks in advance

Where south of Sf do you live? I live in Valley Springs , CA. If you want we could meet and measure where the go. I would bring the the truck to you but my transmission is stuck in second. Let me know.I could take pictures if you would like too.

Pic of LaTroca52's firewall

Here's a shot of Robert's firewall. Note the 2 holes just below and to the right of the brake pedal hole. That's where the switch is mounted.

Hope that helps.

Thanks to all.... Nothing better than a picture. This is what I will be doing today :-)

gary1of2- very generous of you. I live in a very small town out by the coast north of Santa Cruz.

Again, thank you.

Ignore the rubber bumper on the brake arm in the last pic.

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. Located the area where it is to be installed but just didn't seem to make sense.

Kind of amazed the bottom of the brake light switch is correct when aimed upwards where water could get in to it. But it is probably sealed?

You mentioned to ignore the brake pedal rubber bumper in the last picture. Are you planning to use it but simply relocate it?

Thanks for all the replies. The group has been so helpful and essential to my project. Wow ... Happy Labor Day to all.

The brake arm did not have a bumper originally

I mistakenly put one on.

Decided to leave it since I have no issues with it.
