    Thanx Guys !

The name is sort of an homage to an old Army buddy of mine who sadly passed away some years back , he had a 1956 F-100 back in the day , a worn out V-8 . Three On The Tree and overdrive , we spent almost $600.00 in parts alone rebuilding the engine and then we put it right back to work , doing Yeoman Duty out to the desert etc. , etc. .

It was a factory white truck (lotsa Cal. work trucks were but got worked to death in the hot sun) and he always called it The White Night so since my buddy Snakepit is dead and gone but I still have an old white truck , it just seemed right .

When I take my truck to shows , it usually has some work oriented stuff in the bed , folks always look surorised and say ' you actually work this truck ? ' . I say yes , prolly harder than any previous owner , it's been in continuous Commercial Service since 1949.....:)

If I ever win the Lotto there's two guys on this list who I'd feel safe sending it to for complete refurbishment , it doesn't need restoration , just total disassembly and rust removal then re-paint and re-assemble as is , (weld up the bed a bit & add rope hooks) stuff in a romping stomping 261 and keep right on using it like I do now .

Maybe take the paint back to Alaska Yellow , I lie pastels but that's a LOT of yellow !
