Old Air A/C-Heater

I went to great lengths to get a dual pulley HB for my 261 so when I installed AC I wasn't relying on the Compressor to turn the Alternator. Maybe it was not necessary, but I took advice from the Internet! I had a V8 HB machined to fit the 261 and then used a tin dual pulley cover that is bolted on. Maybe that is not as necessary as I thought? I wonder if Old Air even makes a bracket that will do what I want.

Wish I would have known you wanted a dual groove pulley only. Used my last one on a 57 3100 and then he went with the alternator driven by the compressor set up. Thought about pulling it back off but the truck is all finish painted now and radiator has to get out of the way to remove so guess I'll just leave it as is. Had half a dozen at one time that mostly come from big trucks with air compressors for brakes. For brackets I'd also check with Vintage and Alan Grove. As long as the units are held in the right position brand name doesn't matter. Hears a pic of the rare as hens teeth factory dual groove crank balancer/pulley for a 235.
