Just stripped a 1/2T short wheel base frame to the bare rails to put the Lincoln MarkVIII independent rear suspension and Pacer IFS under it for the 52 Suburban. Usually just chuck the pieces in the scrap but thought maybe someone could use something that doesn't normally wear out. Yours for shipping cost: all 8 spring mount brackets, tube shock mounts, complete brake pedal shafts/mc/mount brackets--everything still bolted together. All the wear surfaces and threaded parts seem to be good but the torch wandered a bit on the tube shock brackets but not beyond repair. Cut the rear engine mount crossmember to make removal easier.

Do you still have these parts available? If so, please message me.

    Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Sorry Nate.....The King has left the building! That post was from August, I to was hoping to see his posts again. Apparently, he's enjoying retirement too much.

Well that's a bummer. Do either of you fellas have a lead on some stock spring shackles from a ca. '50 half tonner?

    Thanks!

I've had mixed luck with craigslist (as I'm sure most of us have). I will contact Mothertrucker here and see what he has to say. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I searched for posts by "MotherTrucker" and found a few, but when I finally found the member's profile, there was a few pictures there that said the fella was an imposter.

So... I think I'll look elsewhere for the shackles. A big thanks to those trying to help, I appreciate it. I'm building a clone of my grandpa's service station truck. I have two trucks bought and I'm trying to get one good truck out of the two I have. The spring shackles on the 1/2 ton are all wore out, so I want to replace them. The shackles on the 3/4 ton are good, but they're not the same design. I plan on posting pictures of the build here if folks are interested in seeing what I'm trying to accomplish.

    Thanks again!

Damon, the guy that ccharr is referring to goes by the handle of DeadZoneTruckin on this forum. If you need it, he's probably got it.

Is his name and he's in Arizona , will do you right and often has NEW parts as well as good used , cores , small bits & pieces o one else bothers to save....

FWIW , Flagg brand stil makes the shackles & bushings new if you can find an honest & competent Spring Shop (good luck there) they'll have them on the shelf , about $10 EACH , top quality American made .
