Well after some life changing adventures, retirement, new home medical issues, I haven't posted for several years. I still have my 59 truck. But proud of my new brush guard accessary, and did not have to mortgage the new retirement home for it.

Looks like my pinion flange seal needs replacement, looks like I may need two special tools to complete this repair? As indicated in the shop manual. Anyone have experience with this, stock 3:38 I think if I remember correctly? six lug. 1/2 ton axle.

I was thinking of replacement of my step side tailgate chains and replacing with the Cameo type hardware, like to see the retractors and location of them, and inside handles to open the tailgate. Thanks in advance. :)

I was wondering if my 1959 headlight switch could be changed out to a newer 1960 -1964 type, if would remove the little fuse at least? Should fit in the dash, may need different connectors but should work, any comments?
