Vent Shade Clips Well,,,, Larry Green Restorations of Cameron TX was able to instruct me that the window seal peels out. Then (With just a little effort) the clips pop in to hold the vent shades in place. After that, Just slip the seal back in over the clips. About three minutes per side.

I put them where I thought they may go. They are very tight. Is that correct? Anyone going to reply to this thread or is it dead?

well I slide them up where they belong and they are pretty snug. Problem is where do those clips go? There is a very slight bend to them. Wondering if that has something too do with the clips. The ones on my 65 have two 1/16 screws.

Where does it go? I have new Ball Housings and Diverter balls for my A/C dash vents. They came with new felt. Someone have an idea where they should go?

Anyone installed the vent shades from classic Parts? what are the metal clips for and where do they go? I am out of town right now so it might be obvious once i'm home and can see.

And that would be why the long time rule of thumb has been "You can do the bottom without doing the top but not the top without doing the bottom." If it's worn much it will start knocking the bottom out of it.

Greetings, I am about to glue on my door seals and noticed that it seems the original ones were glued on the inside edge as well as the outside. Does anyone have some input on this? Do I need to glue the inside edge? Thanks

Very Nice, Not sure if it will work for me. I already have moved the motor forward. Little afraid to move it any more. This bracket will move the motor slightly forward so as to except an Electronic Ignition. This should be a very helpful thread. Thanks to all for the input.
