Hi, here´s a few shot´s from what i´m at right now...
It is quit time consuming, but once it´s ready for the first drive, it´ll be worth it, i´m sure:D

@Zig, not sure yet, which way i´m going, some folks i know, just used fine sand paper over the finished painting, but have no experience myself.

    Still at it

    Hi folks,

i just realized, its been a while, since my last update on the truck, sorry for that.

But the last few weeks were really busy, as i had a kind of deadline, where the truck had to be ready for registration. I had a personalized number plate reserved at the local authorities, that expired at 17/5/2012.

So the small stuff at the end really kept me pretty busy and a few night shifts
were also needed, to stay on track...

Here are a few shoots from yesterdays cruise, to proof, it is actually in driveable condition:D

    I hope you enjoy...

The weather also has been crazy, we already had temperatures at around 27°C and a few days ago, they dropped down to around 3°C with fresh snow in the background.

Now i´ll try, to see, where further adjustments or maintenance has to be done, as driving this beast will probably show some things that need attention.

@ray, we pretty much have the same rig, except the year and yours looks more solid on the pictures;)

Brings back memories of my Army Service time. I always loved Bavaria. This truck will no doubt cause quite a stir in those peaceful picturesque Villages. Uff-Daaa!

Thank you all, for the comments, you´re right Flashlight, i´ve been to local vintage car show last week. Guess which car got by far the most attention:D:D.

Just one or two old grumpy cowards were mumbling something, like this vehicle
should not be eligible for carrying historical number plates:eek:

They prolly never did any restoration and have no clue, how much work it is, to keep those machines going:mad:

Next thing is the lettering on the doors. I´ve been to the local graphics shop
and he´s making me a stencil, to have "my" logo sprayed on:)

Hopefully, that´s happening next week or so.

Stay tuned, if you like, it´s not finished yet...

Welcome to the land of un-finished projects. They go on and on. But, you're on the road now and that makes things easier.
