Fuel Filter Location
Right on both counts ! also , where it's located makes it bugger all fun to change when it packs up on a muddy bit of road or in the chop somewhere's or in the rain etc. , having it below the fuel tank means raw fuel gushing all over you as your passenger or some dimwit in a passing car tosses a match

Not to mention the fact that fuel filters are always to be placed after the fuel pump , dirt & debris won't bother the old tech mechanical pumps .
Good advice, I'm guessing underneath is a fire hazard or easy to bang up? Not sure why you don't want them want them before the fuel pump. I'm still learning.
