I had to wear my sunglasses to reply! Really looking good there, Jesse! I love the hubcaps! Probably the most produced hubcap Chevy ever made. They were standard on all passenger cars from '41 thru '48, standard on commercial trucks from '41 through '47. 100% class! Other than the glass, what do you have left to do on your truck?

More pics when you get the time!

WOW! That looks awesome! Let's see some pics with the hood open, doors open with some interior shots, etc! That is one fine ride!

    Looks GREAT! (for a Chevy...)

What size tires are on the front of your truck? They look quite a bit shorter than original. (Which is okay, as it seems to drop the front down to a cool level.)

    update

    Hello

Wow does time fly by! A lot has happened to my black truck since my last post. I drove it off and on last summer and it was a blast! But a couple things were bothering me so I got the bright idea to put more modern suspension and drive line in it. It sure has been fun building a new chassis, I wanted something that handled a little better and went down the road a little faster..haha So I thought I would post some pictures of what I have been up to.

Wow! Nice looking rollin' chassis! Build that yourself? You're making me feel inadequate... My progress is so slow by comparison. Very nice looking truck.

    Overhauled and shiny

    Hey Jesse

Reminding the first day you presented your self and the truck project . I`ll think you have made a very fast progress . I am impressed about the thourough work you have done here , work that has taken you a lot of hours and patience to get it done in the way you have. But with a good working space working on such a truck is just great to do in my opinion. The black exterior color gives it a kinda year 1930-40 gangster car look :) Thank you fore sharing the photos wich inspires me very much .

Can i ask you what front and rear end solution you have installed there ? I like the upgrade with the disc brakes much and that you lowered the truck some inches. What kinda rims and wheels does your ride have ? Did you kept the 6 inline or did you choose a V8 engine as your exhaust pipes are huge i`ll gues its a V8 ?

Nice ride Jesse and thank you for sharing.

    Martinius.

Very nice! That is one hell of a center brace you have there. Should be a lot more fun to drive now.
