1949 Chevy 3600......making it a daily driver!!

If you are worried about "rattles.......clanks......bangs" as well as door latches, consider replacing the latches with Altman latch kit. Search this site for "Altman" for more info. Best update I've done on my truck.
I have altmans in my truck. Great upgrade, except the passenger side failed. I guess it is a know quality issue. I have a warranty replacement sitting on the bench waiting to be installed!!

Productive night in the garage.

I got the notches final welded (except for the bottom) and got the old portion of the frame cutout.

After that I did a test fit of the rear end. After some adjustments it slid right in.

Tomorrow I need to pick up some 2 x 2 x 3/16 tubing and I can final weld the rear end in.
Hey coach I was wondering what you set your pinion angle at? I’m building my 3600 suspension just like yours.
