Thanks guy's, I'm glad you are enjoying my build. It's starting to come along. Never thought I would get this far since I have never done anything like this before. Here's the one piece that complete's the running gear and makes it feel like a truck. The Drive Line

Reinforce my tilt bed floor, and installed my gas cap and mount. Decided to go with aluminum diamond plate for the floor

I really love seeing the progress you are making, and the originality you are incorporating. The only thing I'm wondering about is if it would be better to just hide the gas filler tube under the bed? Skip the need to mate things up when closed and the need for a locking gas cap. Maybe make the back 1/8th (or there abouts) of the bed a flip bed to get to the gas input?
I absolutely love what you are doing!

Thanks Zig, my plan is to put a aluminum bed floor in and have a billet gas lid. The one with rivets so I can lift the lid and my gas cap would be right there

I just got done painting everything

Also for those of you how thought I should reinforce my seat brackets,
I also installed angle brackets underneath the cab, ran on from one cab bracket to the other connecting 2 rear bolts and also in front right behind the tranny cover bolting 2 more front bolts. Still need to do the outside. Have no pictures of that was just to tired after doing all this stuff in 2 days

Holy smokes, man!!!! You're really whizzin' right along here. Love, love, love all of the photos and the detailed descriptions of what you're doing with your project. Those seat brackets look plenty stout, and the fabrication looks fantastic all painted up black.

Rico awesome build what year and make of car is the fuel tank ?I like that you can't see it .

Thanks, it's a 1970 Mustang aluminum 22gallon stock gas tank. I got it from a eBay store called mustang unlimited

Thanks man, here's some pictures of the easy latch kit that I bought thanks to Russ. He help me get it ordered theough Trique and it was a easy kit to install. So thank you Russ for all your help

Finished my rebuild of my drum brakes and installed my emergency brake cables today

Looking Great!!! An inspiration! I can't wait until June to get back to work on mine and finish those last few feet I need to go. The way you're going through this stuff just adds fuel to the fire.
